Amen
Please stop a moment and say a prayer for our troops (land, air, and sea) in Afghanistan, Kuwait , Iraq and all around the world.

Movie Alert!!!
Rus, you need to see the movie Evan Almighty. It is funny & well done.
The star (modern day Noah) is an elected official from BUFFALO!! former newsbroadcaster. I think you & the family would enjoy it (once you stop crying after paying for the tickets)

I am reading for first time Gone with The Wind for a book club. I have seen the movie many times. I can't help but ALWAYS be thankful to the heroes of past who served, as our herores now serve. Clark Gable was a heart throb of his day .. as was Elvis when he went into the army. Both got extra swoons for wearing the uniform.

Showing my even SHORTER HAIR & my nails. The tech raised her eyebrows when I told her what I wanted. As I was leaving serveral other women complimented them & asked for them. The young oriental nail tech just shook her head. Patriotism is something you can't explain.. even when it is gaudy & distinctive.

My Grandmother would get all googly eyed over Clark Gable. :)
I saw lots of his movies when I was a very young child because she would take me to the movies with her.
Thanks for the nice memories. :)

Patriotism is something that's in your blood. Libertina says she has a *patriotic gene*.
