First you have to shut off the hydrant. You can do that by enforcing the existing laws on the books, including securing the border under existing legislation. When you have the leading Dem candidates voting for the Secure Fence Act, what’s the problem in not implementing it? And Clinton signed the US Visit Act in 1996, which has yet to be fully implemented.

This is like people that want enact more gun laws instead of merely enforcing the ones already on the books.

We HAVE enough laws in place to make a secure border a reality...we just have to have people with a backbone to put them into action.

The only thing that will get their attention is if some of them are missing after the next election cycle.

That a nice simplistic Talk Radio slogan. Easy to shout, easy to remember and, best of all, it allows the Do Nothing reactionaries on the Right to kid themselves that they are not require to actually required to get off the butts and DO anything.

Factually it nonsense. Think about it. The current system has resulted in 12-20 million illegals. So the solution is to scream "enforce the law" and that will magically fix the problem? How are you going to enforce laws the Illegals, business, and activist groups like La Raza, are all ready ignoring?
