Thanks much for the link. I really respect the thinking of VDH.
The “political left” continues to be very angry and very unhappy about each and every subject and about each and every issue that’s brought up on all of the talking head shows. Conservative politicians at every level should be seriously cleaning the clocks out of each and every “leftist politician” out there, and I find it very frustrating that this country may STILL END UP WITH a continuing Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress along with a Democratic President starting in January of ‘09! If and when the Democrats do take control of everything in ‘09, the U.S. will soon become a socialistic country, thanks to “Shamnesty legislation” and thanks to the possible creation of the very socialistic “North American Union”! Conservatives at every political level should be having an easy time of explaining why they need to win on November 4, 2008.
What a brilliant summation of the current situation as experienced by the average ordinary American. What Hanson put into a few sentences should be read into the Congressional Record as the essential reasons why Americans said, No Mas to more Immigration “reform” laws that were only going to compound the present situation.
I listened tonight to a videotape of the Senators involved in the bill on the day of the first defeated cloture vote, and none of them ‘got’ it. They kept saying that it wasn’t amnesty because it would take x years and y dollars to gain a green card, etc. They appear to deny or be oblivious to the fact that the new z-visa gave total ‘legality’ to anyone who would be given one. Green card, schmeen card, who would care to get one, if a z-visa was all that anyone needed in order to stay in the States.
They were lying, plain and simple.
How about having conservatives on these talking head shows attacking the ongoing “leftist” bias that continues to prevail in the television media all over the world since day one? Having the “left” attack conservative talk radio as if only this is unfair in the entire world of politics is pathetic compared to the prevailing “leftist” political bias that continues to exist on television all over the world.
” They kept saying that it wasnt amnesty because it would take x years and y dollars to gain a green card, etc...[although] the new z-visa gave total legality to anyone who would be given one. Green card, schmeen card, who would care to get one, if a z-visa was all that anyone needed in order to stay in the States.
They were lying, plain and simple.”
Just listen to the Sean Hannity exchange with Voinivich....
Proves your point to the letter...............
Now there are plenty of alternative news outlets, not the least the Internet. Consequently, customers are leaving the MSM in droves, driven by the dinosaur media's institutionalized arrogance. They are no longer the only game in town. Democracy will benefit as their citizenry becomes better informed.
.
Except I don’t believe the polls. I think it’s a set-up so that when she wins in the primaries, the media can cast in the comeback kid mold, like her hubby.
YOu are welcome he is great.
“We all know that the U.S. economy could not prosper or advance without the labor of both Mexican and Central American migrants, he said.”
The he should relax the immigration laws of Mexico to Central Americans and try to keep a few of his own people so that his country could “prosper and advance” for a change.
