How cool was the Hendrix Experience!
I'll tell you how cool - 40 years ago this month they released "Are You Experienced" - people were (and are) agog over Sgt. Peppers (released about same time) but Jimi was LIGHT YEARS ahead of the "oh so priescent" Beatles.
