It's 4pounds of Tilapia, Parmesan Encrusted, labeled Treasures of the Sea.
In bold letters on the bottom of the bag it says "Odyssey Enterprises, Inc. (Seattle WA).
The fine print to right of the Nutrition facts say "Farm raised product of China. Breaded and packaged in USA.".
It's going in the trash..thank you.

Glad you checked. Maybe this should be in breaking news for everyone to check their freezer. I would have never checked without FR.
I reckon. I’m of Scotch-Irish-German descent, with a little French Huguenot thrown in way back, so I wouldn’t know!
Thanks for the info update
“Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried, there’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. Th-that’s about it.”

> Going to start buying all my food from local farmers.
Good call! I’ve done this and am a lot healthier as a result.
This was said by their spokesman Frank Gorshin. He was the used car dealer on the Munsters.
> The keyword anymore, I think, is farm-raised as opposed to the desirable fresh caught.
Or, “wild”.

DON’T DO THAT! Give it to a Liberal down the block.
We gotta thin their herd somehow, and what Liberal can resist anything they don’t have to pay for?
;-)
How many people have died from poisoned fish? From poisoned toothpaste? From tires? A handful perhaps? And as a pet owner myself, don't forget the pet food either. In the case of the tires, the toothpaste, and the pet food, all companies involved put in the recalls themselves. Why? Setting aside minimal government fines, the main reason was fear of losing market share and future sales.
So no, I see little to no use for the FDA

Thanks....
We’ve been paying attention to this for a couple of years now.
Ever since “Katrina”, Bayou LaBatre fishermen have been in a struggle to even feed their families, and keep their boats afloat.
Fishing....It’s all they know.
We only buy Gulf shrimp and only eat the same in restuarants, because we believe we should support our own.
I don’t think so. I bought it because I wanted some shrimp in the freezer for backup — same with some of the fish. I keep it on hand so I pick it up from time to time but from now I am checking where it comes from.
Most of the fish/shrimp in the counter comes from fresh frozen so that’s why I buy it frozen but no more from Walmart or and will be checking to see country of origin.
Good idea. Test it on the terrorists! Which means we have to keep them detained for life to see if the food kills them or not!
Good idea!
Actually we started paying attention to the fishermen’s plight, back in 2004 when Ivan hit.
That packed a wallop on the fishing industry. Then before they even got back on their feet...Katrina hit.
Anyway, we support their efforts to bring us the very finest in seafood.
Not China.
The FDA is really covering their butts. It’s bad enough to cause them to detain it, but it’s not going to hurt anybody?
If it’s bad enough for them to *detain* it (until it spoils presumably) then they should just outright ban it.
Which still puts it levels of quality above chinese.
