Man you love riding that high horse don't ya? I don't have to call him president if I don't want to. He considers me far less than that. Remember we didn't want what is best for the country, only he and Teddy Kennedy know what that is. He lost the respect of many people who have went to the mat for him for many many years. He sold them out then laughed in their faces and dismissed them as knaves. He's earned the lack of respect he is getting.

Only thing I'm embarassed about is once thinking this guy wanted what was best for America.

Being civil is "riding a high horse"? Standards have certainly dropped.

I don't have to call him president if I don't want to.

No one said you had to.

He considers me far less than that.

Oh, was he supposed to consider you the President instead?

Remember we didn't want what is best for the country, only he and Teddy Kennedy know what that is.

You're misrepresenting.

He lost the respect of many people who have went to the mat for him for many many years. He sold them out then laughed in their faces and dismissed them as knaves. He's earned the lack of respect he is getting.

I didn't know it was supposed to be a quid pro quo, and the President doesn't seem to be in the habit of selling out or mocking people. He seems to stick to his opinions - right or wrong - and treat his opponents respectfully but firmly.

Only thing I'm embarassed about is once thinking this guy wanted what was best for America.

A typical line of spurious argumentation: he doesn't agree with me, so he must have evil intentions. There is no way he could simply have a different opinion than I do about what might be best.

Tantrums are never helpful.
