The nominations of Alito and Roberts is alone worth the donations to the RNC, despite the feelings of many conservatives against the party.

The RNC doesn't have a monopoly on advancing conservative candidates or causes. I feel my money is better invested directly supporting conservative candidates for office rather than through the RNC.

ditto!

The RNC sometimes doesn't even advance conservative causes at all, but liberal ones. (ie., illegal immigration and supporting RINOs in the '06 election)
