Well, we both know who you'll be rooting for. Your pro-amnesty position is shared by far more Democrats than Republicans, so the only way you'll get your wish is with an '08 win by Hillary taking along major congressional coattails. But don't get your hopes up -- your chances are slim.

Most law-abiding immigrants who came here the old-fashioned - legal - way will indeed remember the Donks in such a way. It's only the welfare-addicted, Aztlan-pining, assimilation-averse - you know, your crowd - who'll blame the Pubbies. And thank goodness tens of millions of those types, because of yesterday's vote, won't be voting in '08.
