Keep being obtuse. Look, I am not “crazy” about ice cream but my office complex gave out free ice cream yesterday and I liked it.
The democrats were along for the ride. If the bill passed then great for them, if not then they wouldn’t lose anything, the GOP would be in shambles and Bush would be completely neutered.
Again, I have to wonder how old you are. I’m guessing high school or college, right?
The bill had to much ‘punishment’ for illegals to be completely to Harry’s liking. No one really liked the bill. The Democrats are for amnesty because they believe they would have millions of new voters for their party ( I do also). The Big Business Repubs like the bill because they want slave labor for their business buddies. No one liked the compromise.
