Am I mistaken on this or what??....I believe this is just a vote on whether to stop debate on the bill....not whether to pass it or not.
If they vote “no”, that just means they want more debate, not that they don’t want to pass it. If they vote “yes”, that just means they are done with the debate and now want an up or down vote on the bill.
Is that what this is or am I just horribly ignorant?

You are correct, but Reid will pull the bill again since he can't have it his way. This should effectively kill the bill.
Reid says he’ll pull the bill. They’ve had 4 cloture votes that counted, failed on 3. They can continue to debate but elections are approaching and this is shooting conservative political groups donations up and getting us organized (well, really really mad enough to think seriously about getting up off our behinds and organizing. He’d be insane to continue to push it.
If you haven’t joined up at NumbersUSA they seemed to do a good job, got over 400,000 members now I think. I haven’t done any checking into them personally, but they have a good video, send out tons of faxes and e-mail alerts etc.
