I voted for Jorge twice, also. I agree with you. Either Gore or Kerry would have been far worse.Not too sure about that. When Clinton was president, the republicans actually acted like conservatives. There is no way that No Child Left Behind, CFR, Medicare Plan-D or any of the other insane programs would have been passed if Kerry or Gore were president.

More true than not...remember we had Gingrich as Speaker during 4 of those 8 years. DeLay was House Whip, then majority leader post-Newt. Lott was Majority leader. Their gone, and making Frist the Majority Leader really hurt us. Hastert is a good man but was not a leader. We still lack effective leadership in House and Senate.
