Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.
On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.

At 9:00:01 I called my two useless Senators, Dumb and Dumber, errr Biden and Carper, once again to tell them to vote “no” on cloture.
Please say a prayer for our country and thank God for His mercies, then call your Senators and give ‘em hell!

I think so too. On Monday he wasn't really sure who his constituency was. Maybe immigrants? Maybe Muslims? Who knows, they're all claiming ownership of poor Jim Webb.
But after his Tuesday night cloture vote, I think he got an unambiguous clarification about who suppports him, and who will be committed to destroying him if he votes for this thing.
He was very nervous and looked sick at the podium yesterday.
He got the message.

Exactly! And the knowledge that illegals will be deported may be a detterent to those who would otherwise try to illegally sneak in to the country.
However, if there is no fear of being deported, that will only encourage more to sneak in.

It appears that Ensign (R-NV) is a NO, as well.
If the "undocumented community" can say "we can do it" or "si, se puede" why can't we?
