Here we are again my friends, hopefully for the last debate thread on this particular monstrous legislation. Proceedings are supposed to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST, with the cloture vote being taken at 10:30 a.m.
On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.
Yeah, you left out a lot of RINOs who kept it along this long: Arlen Spector, Mitch McConnell, and others. We need to build the Rino Extinction List after we finish our celebration.
No doubt they ALL have been!!!!
Congratulations, everyone!!!
Voinovich won’t be intimidated huh, but he will jump off a sinking ship, like the rat he is!
Wait... the Senate’s only living corpse is trying to say something.
Probably his organized labor vote.
Anyone have a list who voted yes
It’s very satisfying to imagine how ticked off Bush is right now at seeing the American democracy at work. All those people who called and Emailed their disgust and disdain at this piece of ____ have had a wonderful effect and killed this bill!
The new world order has been slapped down for a few more days, and the American Republic still stands.
Corker of TN...
I just called his Chattanooga office again and they said they are watching the TV
They deny he changed his vote said hes voted NO all along...
I didnt hear the changeepoo myself....
To Reid, Grahamnasty, The Senior Balloon From Massachusetts, Jorge Boosh, McLame, and the rest of the open borders amnesty crowd, let me be the first (ok, maybe 147,276,452nd) to say...
UP YOURS, you elitist pr*cks.
And don't worry, we know you'll be resurrecting this abomination yet again sometime in the future, but rest assured that we will be there again as well.
Thank God!
He voted for the bill before he voted agains it.
He’s about to take the joy of the defeat of this bill take it out to the woods and shoot it.
Voinivich probably thought he was voting FOR amnesty...
He’s SO confused !
I fear we have nto seen the end of this yet. Alot of big money interests are pushing hard, so we can not let up or let our guard down.
I think so.
He only did it after defeat of the bill was assured. Make no mistake, he would have voted yes if there was a chance of it's passage. The same with about 8 other senators.
Senator Tim Johnson, who was incapacitated by a stroke several months ago.
BELIEVE ....miracles DO happen. Thank you. Your post caused this “salty discharge” to fill my eyes. Praise God. Good will prevail. Stay active dear children of goodness.
