I don't care about orientation (though I do think it can be changed). What I would like to see is a change in their behavior -- and I know that people can change that.

I don't care about orientation (though I do think it can be changed). And...they have already made the decision one way, can't be any harder to change back.
After all, it's not genetic nor is it instinct.
