The man first really acknowledged any problem at all on May 15, 2006--well over five years into his term of office and over 4 1/2 years after the attacks on New York and the Pentagon, when one would have thought his first response would have been to address our own borders, and access to the United States! I’ve watched this thing pretty closely and when this amendment was voted down, at that very moment, I knew everything I needed to know about the intent of the bill and the intent of the people backing it.
