Reminds me of the joke about the new Lieutenant who got a little tipsy at the dining out and insulted the General's wife. The lady asked him, "Do you know who I am?" The Lieutenant replied, "Yes ma'am. Do you know who
I am?"
The General's wife replied, "No I don't. Who are you?" at which point the LT ran out the front door.
A Lieutenant approached a private and asked him if he had change for a dollar. The private responded, "Yeah, I think I've got it right ..."
The Lieutenant interrupted him with, "Private! That's no way to address a superior officer. When you address a superior officer, you will say 'Sir'. Now, let's try this again. Do you have change for a dollar?"
The private responded, "No, Sir!"
