The problem is, that in Canada as here, the cumulative effect of all of the liberal/leftist/counter-cultural/amoral "culture" -- and the whole bit, not just the homosexuality -- could lead people astray, or enable people already tending that way.

Canada isn't just a bunch of leftists and Toronto is big enough that the leftists are easily avoided.
