"This coming from someone who posted the following on an anti-FReeper site: When you feel conflicted about which site to visit, just remember where many of your favorite posters now post."

That is supposed to be a rebuttal of my comment? Come on, you can do better than that.

By the way, how is my statement at DarwinCentral in any way anti-FR?

"The problem is, that in Canada as here, the cumulative effect of all of the liberal/leftist/counter-cultural/amoral "culture" -- and the whole bit, not just the homosexuality -- could lead people astray, or enable people already tending that way."

Canada isn't just a bunch of leftists and Toronto is big enough that the leftists are easily avoided.

"I don't think that is what wagglebee was saying. I took it as something along the lines of 'if that is the type of people they want to attract, then I will choose to avoid them and spend my money elsewhere.' That is why I would never visit Toronto, not because I was afraid of turning gay. I avoid San Francessepool for that very reason, and it is in America. If I was going to visit Canada, I would definitely pick a straight friendly city. (if there are any left)"

There are no cities in the world where there are no gays. It is a part of humanity. But it is ignorable.

Many cities in the West, such as Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon are decidedly conservative. You might want to visit us in the West.

But it is ignorable.

I am not trying to ignore it, I am refusing to support it.

It’s 100 times worse today. Toronto is now a cesspool.

You are aware I trust that just having a homo look at you with their gay eye can turn you to the dark side. ..

I would ignore the gay rights movement if it wasn’t constantly in my face. Churches are supposed to change for their sake - the Episcopal Church is split because of homosexual demands; traditional morality is supposed to change because it is “backwards” and “bigotted”, traditional marriage is supposed to change for their sake; the Boy Scouts are supposed to change for their sake and the list goes on. The Catholic archdiocese in Boston no longer runs an adoption service because they wanted to abide by the teachings of the Catholic Church and not adopt to homosexuals/lesbians. The Catholic sex scandal had nothing, absolute nothing to do with homosexuals because that was about older men abusing mostly young teenage boys, and we know that homosexuals are not particularly interested in sex with young teenage boys (sarc). A number of schools now have a Day of Silence and/or GLSEN clubs. A second-grade teacher in Lexington, Mass., read her students a book called “King to King” about a king who rejects a number of princesses and finally goes off with another king.
If anyone suggests that they change, then that, of course, is BIGOTRY. Anyone disagreeing with their agenda in fact, is racist, bigotted, unethical, uneducated, backwards, intolerant, neo-Nazi and homophobic. They, on the other hand, are only goodness and light.
