They are slipping a lot of hurtful Communistic rules over on us in this evil bill. And meanwhile, back in the public schools, they are planning to photograph our children’s eyes, and fingerprint them! How much of this are we going to take, people?

I would LOVE to!! I have been posting with an explanatory tagline, but a new screen name would be preferred. How do I do that?

Sorry. I can’t carry a tune, but I’m certain you all get my point! Grrrrrr!

Native born and naturalized employees will be required to show — as proof of legal status — their employers...[ID]...

Why the *F* do I have to show ID to prove I'm supposed to be here? Why shouldn't "persons of ambiguous national heritage", like those who can't speak English, be asked to prove THEY are supposed to be here?

Bingo! Unfortunately, I think if this comes to pass, Spanish will be preferred and if you and I don't learn to speak it, we won't be getting a job anyway.

I would advise everyone to Google the Real ID issue.

We do not want to each end up in more efficient central data bases as technology gets better and better.

The moment one hear’s someone say “Why not. If you are innocent you have nothing to worry about” you know you are revisiting 1930s Germany where the same attitude prevailed.

Avoiding terrorist nukes must not involve so much control and information over ourselves. I would just prefer to steer clear of living and working downtown Washington or NY but otherwise live free.

Googling it brings up lost of CATO Institutes’ and ACLU’s phony “privacy” concerns. Why phony? Because the government already has all the information on U.S. citizens. What the ‘Real ID Act’ does is requires states to issue driver’s licenses and identifications using verifiable breeder documents or those licenses and IDs cannot be used to board a plane, enter a federal building, etc. They do not have to fully comply. They can also issue ones without the correct breeder documents do not those have to state they cannot be used for federal purposes.

People can choose between the two but entering a federal building and flying is not a Constitutional right. You and everyone doing those things have expectations of security and you either properly ID yourself or you should not get to do those things.

I could kick myself I am one for being on the for the methods of Hegelian watch.

Remember how many times we trusted Bush when the left was yelling how we were giving up liberties for security!

I used to always say the left and the right are controled by the say head!

But tried to have faith in the man GWB wanting to believe he had America’s interest at heart!

But I feel we were hoodwinked with that part of us wanting to think the best of someone is that we really being used by these snake in the grass to use our goodwill to achived their agenda!

Well, the left constantly hurt itself when it concentrated on things like “the Patriot Act says the police can find out what you read in the library”.

A library is a public place that can have security cameras.

What the left should have said is that the Patriot Act can find out what websites you visited using your AOL account.

That would be where I draw the line.

The problem with the left is that they are mostly dummies who hate white male professionals and white male professional arguments.

They could have argued effectively against the Patriot Act if they had chosen the right parts of the law to complain about.

I also consider it a fundamental right to fly using the type of ID I have always used. That has usually been a passport, which I have to assume counts as a Real ID.

Freedom of movement is not in the Constitution? Let’s put it there. If a politician introduced a Constitutional Amendment calling for freedom of movement, he or she would win. The Republicans would NOT want to be on the wrong side of that issue.

Not enough planes are blown up to make me want to crack down on myself so much. ;-)
