I’m all for that. It would be the most worthwhile ‘adventure vacation’ I ever took. Let’s get it rolling before the final Senate vote.

I think we can get some heat going by putting our reps on notice. Calif’s DiFi responded to demands for pardoning Compean and Ramos by calling for congressional committee to investigate. But she also voted against the fence.
Start calling on Melanie Morgan, Michelle Malkin, and Hewitt, Gallagher, Mark Levin, Hannity,Sussman, Lars Larson, et al.
It’s worth a try, isn’t it? We can boldly remind the Parliament of Hoes that this is a government of, by and FOR the people (citizens). . . and if they don’t believe us..wait ‘til 2008.Meanwhile, stop contributions. But we’ve got to get organized and BELIEVE we can at least draw some blood!

great idea,

“You establish a format and let’s begin a thread for every state in the union, a possible example for a title of each thread (just change the state name) :”
“CALIFORNIA RECALL: Petition To Recall Elected Officials, Over Immigration Bill”

I have been thinking along the same lines, except we help each other and TARGET specific scallywags for defeat, beginning with the next election of senators. 1/3 of the senate is up for election next year, and start addressing them as “ex-Senator such and such”, now, just to let them know.

Do the same with the House. And then do the same with the staffs of the scallywags, as they are the ones doing much of the dirty work, secretaries, clerks, etc, who really need the jobs, which we are paying them to do.

then we focus, all freepers, no matter what state, to defeat the leaders who are marching our country to oblivion.

Thanks for your post. As a matter of fact, I have been searching this am for a copy of the 1986 amnesty bill by Simpson and Mazzola. I am very inerested in knowing the exact reasons it failed. I’ll keep looking and maybe some emailing today for help.

Forget the fence, build a minefield.

"... and if they don’t believe us..wait ‘til 2008."

We'll have lost our country by that time. We need to stop this thing now.

I live in Illinois. I have two blue-rat senators that are an embarrassment to the state, the nation, the world, the solar system, the galaxy and the universe.

This seems like a nightmare of sorts.

Didn’t Congress pass and Bush sign into law this last October?

Hunter Applauds Signing of Secure Fence Act

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) commended the enactment of H.R. 6061 (King-NY), the Secure Fence Act. The legislation, coauthored by Congressman Hunter, calls for more than 700 miles of strategic security fencing on America’s land border with Mexico.
“The Secure Fence Act is a critical piece of legislation that delivers greater security to our nation’s Southern border,” said Congressman Hunter. “Regaining operational control of this region remains one of our greatest priorities and this legislation is a significant step toward achieving this goal.

“The benefits associated with border security fencing are evident in San Diego County, where more than 10 miles of double-layered infrastructure has been erected. Since border fence construction began in 1996, crime rates in San Diego County have been reduced by more than half, vehicle drive-throughs have been eliminated and apprehensions have significantly decreased as the result of fewer crossing attempts.

“Securing our borders requires a multi-faceted approach in which fencing is a very important part. The Republican led Congress has remained focused on strengthening border security and the Secure Fence Act further underscores this commitment.”

In 1994, Congressman Hunter legislatively mandated the construction of 14 miles of double-layered security fencing between San Diego County and Tijuana, Mexico. Construction began in 1996 and, despite years of dilatory legal and environmental challenges, the remaining 3 miles of fencing have been set for completion. The Secure Fence Act replicates the successful design of the San Diego Border Fence – two layers of fencing separated by a high-speed border patrol road and monitored by accompanying infrastructure and personnel – requiring its construction in five separate locations totaling more than 700 miles.

The fence plan failed by 272 to 149 votes. Those 272 need to be sent to the unemployment line ----

I hope somebody is keeping a list of who is on our side and who is not.

Instead of a march, how many people would it take to join hands and make a human fence for a day? JAT

While you're there can you go ahead and build it? ;-)

Feinstein and Specter also voted on Senate floor in favor of amendment to kill border fence in 2006.

Not a surprise. Feinstein is a member of CFR.

Can anyone explain what the heck is happening in the house? First they vote to withhold fed money from sanctuary cities , but then they do this. It’s like trying to follow the writings of a madman.

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. House of Representatives this morning voted to withhold federal emergency services funding for “sanctuary cities” that protect illegal immigrants.

Anti-immmigration champion Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., sponsored the measure, which he says would apply to cities such as Denver and Boulder. He was elated by its passage, which stunned critics and supporters alike.
