But they will not put any credibility in trash talk.

They will listen to a Rush Limbaugh, they will listen to powerful people but they will never pay any attention to a rabid ranter as they look at them as redneck, unprofessional ranters without the brains to handle problems.

Sorry but that is the way the world operates. Look at how the media portrays all Texans on tv - they show us as ignorant because we might have a twang in our voice. Now imagine how that would appear on tv if that twang was ranting against the President of the United States instead of giving his views in clear concise thought out versions.

Why sell ourselves short, why can’t we be players along with others - we work hard enough at it?

We need to think of how we would speak if trying to sell our views to a boss. That is exactly what we are doing trying to sell our views over the views of the politicians.

Who are some of the “others”? I don’t want to mistake your meaning here.

They have ignored us, we have used many of the means of protest and persuasion to no avail. They are Tyrants and nothing more. They do not listen to reason. We bombarded them with reason and phone calls and the small minority regrouped and are coming back at us again. Maybe its time to up the ante? FYI:

Sir, we are the rabid ranters that listen to Rush that forces *them* listen to Rush. And there are 30 million of us.

It's organic. It's not some sham paradigmic '90s think-outta-the-box marketing catchprase buzzword phenomenom. We are grassroots here, Sir. Reporting daily, LOUDLY, for duty.

BS. The president trash talked us. Do you forget. Frankly I don't care what Bush thinks at this point because he is so stinking tone deaf he couldn't hear a dump truck in a nitroglycerin factory.

He used to be loved on this forum. We all stood behind him 100% and what did that loyalty buy us? Nothing. He could care less what we think.

Right now we need to convince the Senators and Congressmen that we will turn them all out of office if they support this bill. We need to let them know that we, as Americans, are MAD AS HELL AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

What Bush does not realize is that we are trying to save his legacy, not destroy it. But he doesn't care. He is hell bent on destroying this country and his legacy. I for one am not going to sit idly and be all nicey nicey while he does it.

I suspect that Bush is now the most unpopular sitting president in history. It is an honor he deserves.

Gee, in the last few months I've been hearing national talk hosts using the term "QUISLING" right and left. Today, I heard Malkin on Laura Ingraham use 4:4 of the Constitution as a reason to demand border enforcement now.

Gee, I wonder where they might have picked up those memes????

U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,

and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"

Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]

1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.

we're not trying to sell these clowns anything. They are trying to sell us a bill of goods.

When you realize a salesman is defrauding you, you stop playing nice and you pick him up by the seat of his pants and throw him into the street.

They tried to sneak this one by us in the dark of night.

BTW Bush has lost all credibility by sending his cronies out to try to convince us that this Amnesty bill is not an Amnesty Bill. Why should I give a crap if they don't give me any credibility? I'm not trying to sell them anything. I'm trying to tar and feather them all and run them out of town on a rail. That is how Americans have traditionally treated flim flam men. We need to let these Bozos know who is the boss and where they can put their Amnesty plan.

Hey Jorge, if you are lurking:
