Pinging the FR Vietnam Veterans and Family Members with sad news.

For myself, I will not forget Mr. Tonkin's nightly greeting: "Good Evening Ladies, from the Men of the Canteen" accompanied by kittens in snow globes and warm, cozy fireplace scenes.

After so many greetings, it's hard to say Good-bye, but you have gone and so my prayers go with you, and my heartfelt sympathy to your family and friends.

I will always remember how passionate he was about everything. Again, God rest his soul and comfort you who knew him best and all of us on FR. We already missed him.

I VOW to the 58,000 + Brothers and Sisters on The Viet Nam Wall who never came home and to those who died at home from injuries and from broken hearts.
