Amen!

Yea, Billy Bob went to church just about every Sunday while he was in office … for him it was obviously just a photo-op and little else.

I couldn't care less about his religion. I'm not voting for "Guy Who Bellows Loudest About His Faith".

If any of us were, Huckabee and Brownback would have higher poll numbers.

&Now a political science professor at a Church of Christ-affiliated college charges Thompson is a "lapsed member." And he has issued a challenge on the Internet to anyone who can come up with evidence that Thompson, now an actor, is active in the Church of Christ. ... Professor Mark Elrod of Harding University said he doubts Thompson is "filling out an attendance card at a Church of Christ on Sundays."

DON’T FORGET: Ronald Reagan was a man of deep faith but he NEVER attended church.

That said, I believe that Christians should be active church members.

Between the right’s insistance on Christian politicians and the left’s worship of government, there seems to be a stalemate. Could it be that religion is not a proper yard stick for either side?

James Dobson was taken out of context and did not say that. As a matter of fact, he took Glenn Beck to task for reporting that he said that. JAMES DOBSON NEVER SAID THAT FRED TOMPSON WASN'T A CHRISTIAN.

From a voting standpoint, I do not care whether Fred is a regular churchgoer. I care about what he could reasonably be expected to do as President.

As a Christian, I hope he goes to church, because it’s good for a Christian to go to church!

A couple of weeks ago, Glenn Beck mentioned the article in which James Dobson allegedly questioned Fred's Christian credentials. Someone told Dobson about it, and he called Glenn a few minutes later, and was LIVID.

He said that the quote was taken out of context, and was simply stating that he did not know much about Fred's beliefs but that he did not rule out voting for him.

‘No religious test’ was put in the Constitution for good reason. May as well not even be in there, as much as it is by-passed and ignored. What’s the difference between forcing a president-elect to confirm his faith under oath or forcing him to answer these jaw-draggers during the campaign?

“First, Focus on the Family founder James Dobson was reported to have said the Republican presidential hopeful is not a real Christian.” Tend to your own knitting Jimmie. This lapsed Catholic is voting for Fred.

Dobson, nor anyone for that matter, knows what is in someone's heart. It is wrong to accuse someone of being or not being a Christian. I have not chosen a candidate, but being a Christian is not a priority for, as much as being a good person and leader. I'll let God sort out the good from the bad. It's not for humans to do.

Bless you. A minister, who also was a hunter, once during an invocation at the Congressional Sportsmens Caucus annual dinner, said, “It is better to be in the woods thinking about God, than to be in church thinking about hunting.”

Well, guess that answers my question . . . Hillary's minions.

If Jimmy Carter is somebody's favorite politician . . . can we have him committed to a home for the feebleminded?

You don’t have to attend church to be a Christian.

Not in my book.
