Conservatives don’t “fear” terrorists. We realize the danger they pose to our country, we hate them and we are ready to fight them.

Every time I hear of global warming, I think “global warming BACK UP!”
Or am I the only one who was taught in school that the worlds climate was warmer before the ice age, then it is now?

Whether he meant to or not, it seems that Mr. Barone has accurately described the difference between those who justly fear what they have seen (twin towers) and those who fear what they (secretly) want to see.

How about this, we reduce our dependence on foreign oil, money from which finds its way to terrorists in the Middle East. We do this by investing in alternative energy sources. I like Nuclear Energy myself. 2 birds, one stone.

At first I thought that Barone was a fool, creating a bogus equality between the real threat of Islamic terrorism and the hypothetical threat of global warming that Big Government can somehow deal with by coercive behavioral controls. But when you think again, this is a subtle satire aimed at the 'Rat camp that is foolish enough to hype the alleged global warming threat. What really sticks it to the Dems is Barone's bringing up of the blatant hypocrisy of Gore and Edwards.
Hey, Al and John, how would you like to purchase some "carbon offsets" so that you can sell your snakeoil to your Dummycrat constituency?
