But a Hummer can still crush a Prius....

Yes indeedy.  But a 6 cylinder sedan can out accelerate a Hummer and still take it's occupant to the mall like the Hummer does.  If we could go back to the days of normal sedans and station wagons with a power to weight ration of around .5, we'd get where were we were going without funding the Islamic terrorists as much.

If you want good gas mileage with performance, but minus people thinking you are a lib, go with a Mini. My wife has been bugging me for one for the past few months.

Another argument could be that we should use as much oil as possible to just use it up. That would bring the ME revenue to an abrupt halt. If we lower our consumption, China will just pick up the slack.
