I know what you mean about our southern border in CA. Trip mines of HE in the 2/3 of the length toward to the US would collapse them. Cement is to be used to build things and isn't cheap. HE is, if you know what to do.

Yes normally a Green Card is instant..When I came here I got a Green Card after 90 days...it was mailed to me in 60 days and I was told I could go ahead and work...
since theres only a 90 day waiting period usually...theres a class action suit waiting to be filed...there would be no 8 year wait...
with a green card I had all the rights of citizenship that Americans have but I could not vote and I could not work at a Govt job (like the Post Office or congressional offices, etc) and I could not get instate tuition or freebie college...
However I could be drafted, if I was a guy, I did go into the military where I had a Secret clearance. I became an American citizen while I was in the military...
With a Green card its just a matter of time until the person is eligible to be an American..
It was five years from the day the person arrived here or three years if he or she was in the US military
You see the problems instantaneous AMNESTY/Legality would have caused..
And what was suppose to happen to illegal aliens who did not pass a background check etc? there was no provision to deport them...

Maybe filling the tunnel w/cement was staged. That’s a more plausible scenario at this point in time.

I think we already allow illegal aliens to pay the reduced 'in-state' tuition rate, while American citizens from other states have to pay the much higher out of state tuition... This is positively nuts...

And there's no mention of the extensive medical, psychological, criminal, and financial checks that legal immigrants must obtain at their own expense, but that illegal aliens do not have to have at all (legal immigrants must also get and pay for a variety of immunization shots).

I couldn't agree with you more. They are not to be trusted. In whispers, under the cover of darkness these traitors will try to sneak it through. They haven't given up.
I believe we should not get all giddy about this, because, believe me, these amnesty lovers will be back, probably sooner than later, with a new attempt to pass an amnesty immigration bill. I will sleep with one eye open.
