This is the homestretch.
Call and e-mail your senators today, Republicans and Democrats, urging them not to table debate on this critical piece of legislation.
It deserves a fair and open debate of all ramifications. To do otherwise is unamerican.
Ask them to vote "NO" on cloture.
Keep bumping this to the top.
Today is the day.

Agreed. Congress, or in this case the majority of the Senate, do not want existing laws enforced. They want a re-write. Sounds like a script for a movie of the week.

It doesn’t appear they have enough votes to close it to me.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Thanks too, Guenevere.
We played the Michael Card song, Heal Our Land, at church and used it to introduce an extended prayer time. We prayed for repentance, revival, and healing for our country. Good to hear others are praying the same thing.

Anyone who votes NO on the losing side of a senate bill has the option to bring it back up for reconsideration.
Lott used to do it pretty often in the 90s when he was the Senate Majority Leader.
