Lost in all the non-hoopla about the latest TROP “KILL ALL NYer’s” plot, was the news that the Canadian authorities now believe that the plot they uncovered last year by their Muslims was much larger than they thought. It seems that lots of Muslims wanted to kill Toronto.

This guy must not get out much. Private 'security companies' (aka Armies, Merc's) have been around for quite some time. One of the 1st in our modern era (VN) was (IIRC) the now defunct Executive Outcomes. And I believe the largest now is one out of the UK presently 'working' in Sierra Leone (can't recall the name).

This makes sense, and I am sure there are various “private military forces” operating worldwide.
Quite frankly, there are some lines governments cannot cross for political reasons. Mercenaries have no such qualms. The job is the job.
