Florida evangelist Bill Keller says he was making a spiritual -- not political -- statement when he warned the 2.4 million subscribers to his Internet prayer ministry that ``if you vote for Mitt Romney, you are voting for Satan!''

But the Washington-based advocacy group Americans United for Separation of Church and State says the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) should revoke the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status of Bill Keller Ministries, nonetheless.

Isn't it a wonderful thing?! In order for us to have one "right" guaranteed by the Constitution we must surrender another. For example. Liberals (Giuliani) seem to think that there is a clause in the Constitution that says there is a "seperation of church and state" which we all know does not exist that somehow trumps the Constitutionally protected "rights" of "freedom of religion" and "freedom of speech" which do exist.

This goes to something that has been bugging me for a while.. A lot of religious people are moving to the D side because they speak of helping the poor, etc... the problem is that the D's really don't do this as individuals, they simply demand someone else do it for them (government).. Yes, as Christians we are supposed to help the poor, etc, BUT, Jesus said WE were supposed to to this as individuals, not complain someone else isn't doing it and expecting the government to do it.. Christianity isn't about demanding the government take the responsibility from is.. it is about us as INDIVIDUALS following Christ.. This is the core foundation of Conservatism - individual responsibility.

It bugs me as more and more, I see Christians like Jakes say they support D's because D's support(sic) the poor, etc.. The D's don't support the poor, they simply belay your guilt of not helping them yourself as an individual..
