Well we don’t exactly have an amnesty, we have a period of non enforcement, which is a big difference, when we finally decide to get rid of them it will be a lot easier than if they have been “legalized”

The proposed bill is nothing but smoke and mirrors, and is unenforceable. We don’t have comprehensive murder, robbery or fraud laws and we don’t need comprehensive immigration laws. AMNESTY will only promote more illegals just like it did last time, it is no compromise it is a capitulation. They are waiting in Los Angeles and Tijuana for this thing to pass with prepared fraudulent evidence of residency and employment ready to sell as we speak. There will be no investigation of the applications and fraud will run over 50%.(just like 1986) You think there are 12 million illegals here now wait till the greatest giveaway in the world’s history begins. Oklahoma sooners will look like pikers. There also will be no enforcement down the road, the triggers are worthless. It is in fact worse than last years proposal. Just remember if George Bush and Ted Kennedy are for it, it is very bad indeed.

It is designed for one thing and one thing only and that is to fool the public into buying that is is a solution. It is a fraud.

We have amnesty now, this bill has no amnesty for citizenship? If it does, please tell us where?
Are the current laws working, and, when did they?
Please tell us how tougher, realistic employer laws and a fence are going to increase illegals? That ought to be interesting.
There will be no investigations? Well fire the politicians and get ones that will. Of course only one investigation will be more then we have now.
The bill has tons of safeguards against fraud. You know what we have now. I like the new stuff.
What is the give away? Please be specific. With a fence, a lot more Border Agents, more holding sites, violent criminals put in American jails. and real jail time for repeaters. how is your “Oklahoma land rush going to happen?
Ah, now comes the Truth, it`s a bad deal because Bush and Kennedy are for it. Well, that should do it then. But, help me, how is anything going to get passed and become law without Both of them agreeing? Minior point for sure, but a definite deal breaker. In the mean time, the problem gets worse! Is the Bill perfect> No, but let`s work together and fix what needs to be fixed. or. we can learn to live with what we have now, it`s our choice.
