The left was right all along: the man is a moron.

Where were you when he ran for office? He seems to be doing pretty much what he said he would do and it's possible you voted for him because of what he said then. Why act like the average Dim and toss names from your Ivory Tower now?

There are so many one-issue folks out there today that it's hard to believe that they were actually awake over the last 6 years. I guess that just goes to prove that the worst of human nature affects even those that call themselves "conservative" and the "progressive" liberal weenies don't have it all locked up.

Try to imagine where we would be as far as being blown away in many cities by terrorists, suffering a Carter economy, and having Nancy Pelosi-Supreme Court justices, if we hadn't elected resident Bush. Heck, you don't even have to imagine it if you want to join the Left in attacking the President, just convince a lot of folks to teach the GOP another lesson in Nov '08 and I would bet you'll be wishing for another Bush.

Saying that Bush is better than the Democrats is not saying much. So Bush saved the country so he could give it away. We gave the Republicans the White House, the Senate, and the House in 04 and they betrayed us. Why would I go back for more?

Honestly, I don’t think it would be any worse then it will be if this immigration bill is enacted. Expect government healthcare. We will have at least 20 million uninsured low wage workers. Expect higher taxes. Expect lower wages. the list goes on and on.

I don’t disagree that Gore or Kerry would have been worse. For years, I’ve been an outspoken Bush supporter even when surrounded by Bush-haters. I stood firm despite strong disagreements with him on issues like domestic spending and entitlements. About the only things I saw eye to eye with him on were tax policy and the WOT. That was enough. Unfortunately, his administration is a bunch of bunglers politically. They manage to make even the best policy decisions sound bad and the Dems never miss a chance to magnify and amplify every miscue. They have squandered tremendous political capital when they were riding high in the polls and have made it nearly certain that their few achievements will be reversed by the next administration. Now with this immigration bill, I’ve got to say that I think he has lost it. It is a total sell-out. Maybe the results of this bill wouldn’t be so bad if its “tough” parts were being enforced by a tough-minded administration. That isn’t likely to happen. At this point I think it is a strong bet that we will end up with President Rodham. Think she’ll alienate what she sees as her constituency by tough enforcement? And now he is trying to sell it by calling me a racist. Nice.
