I don’t dislike President Bush...I think he probably thinks he is doing the right thing. However, I will not sit quietly while my country is being destroyed by a disasterous bill.
You are not the last person. I'm still a big Dubya fan even though I am strongly against this latest immigration "reform" bill. But everything has to be taken in balance. This bill (if it passes, which is doubtful) certainly detracts from his accomplishments. But there are too many single-issue people on this forum who can't see the bigger picture. I'll take Bush's overall record with the fight against terror, the economic legacy, and the scotus appointments against this ill-conceived bill.
