Poor Tony Snow.
He must really be second guessing why he took the job.

What makes you say that? Everyone’s seen this coming for a long time.

Does anyone know Tony's position on illegals before he joined the White House?
I was disappointed to hear Michael Medved support this bill 100% - he just doesn't get it. (sigh)

Why? He was pro-illegals, pro-open borders when he had his radio program. He in on the same page as the Administration. He doesn't even have to fudge a bit to spiel the Administration spin.

Snow has a total supporter of illegal immigration prior to taking the job.

I like Tony, too. But he was dead wrong on this issue when he had his talk show. I’m sure his voiced opinions on illegal immigration were part of the reason he was selected for that slot.
I doubt that he’s having any stress at all about supporting Bush on this. Show was on the same page from day one.

He took a substantial pay-cut for this position.
And he hasn't resigned as Dubya has decided to start flinging mud
on anybody that doesn't fall into lock-step and support
"comprehensive immigration reform".
Tony Snow surely does seem to be a nice guy.
And I wish him well health-wise.
But his acta et verba (actions and words) has shown
he's a true believer along with Dubya, Teddy, McCain and all the
other illegal immigrant supporters.

I doubt it. He was an open-border zealot long before he became press secretary.
