Dear Mexico,
Screw off. After your little stunt the other night, booing Miss USA at the Miss Universe contest, all of us up here in the real America have one simple message for you: Get busy edging the sidewalks.
Or washing the dishes.
Or selling the drugs and joining the street gangs.
Or whatever it is you people do that real Americans wont.
Sure, we admire your ability to squeeze 17 people into a minivan, and nobody can fit an extended family into a duplex like you guys, but when it comes to decency and hospitality, you act like savages.
Let me repeat that: Savages.
Or, in your language: Savages.
Because simple sportsmanship and honor seem to be things that have escaped you people. Our soccer team comes down there, and instead of acting like hosts, you act like chumps. You chant Osama while our anthem is being played. You boo when our beauty queen comes on stage. You boo when she is asked questions in the interview. You boo when she makes the top five at the Miss Universe Pageant and your cow is mercifully eliminated. You have an amazing hunger for the American dollar but a palpable hatred for the American people.
I guess its human nature to resent your betters.
And Mexican nature to be bigots.
Does this sound harsh? Good. Your behavior merits harsh. Your showing at the Miss Universe contest ought to be a national shame, one more ding in the rusty chip-on-your-shoulder Mexican sense of honor.
But I can understand the grudge. If I lived next door to a country that was prosperous and free, and my country was corrupt and poor, Id be covetous, too.
The odd thing is that without a United States there would not be a functional Mexico. Your countrys largest source of income is money wired back by the 10 percent of your population who have decided theyd rather live in America than their homeland.
Part of that is because America is cool.
But most of it is because Mexico sucks.
Dont believe me? Ask any one of the 12 to 20 million Mexicans who snuck into this country in search of indoor plumbing. They are here because they cant stand to be there.
And yet all we get out of Mexico is crap. Their politicians crap on us. Their music craps on us. Their farmers crap on our lettuce.
They are in the unique situation of being an essentially failed society, dependent on mooching off our society to keep their head above water, and all they have is loathing for us.
So pronounced is that loathing that they even boo some American girl in a dumb beauty pageant. It got so bad that somebody had to go out on stage during a commercial break and remind them that they were making fools of themselves in front of an international audience.
And they were doing it by mocking a woman. They didnt even have the decency to respect a woman and treat her with dignity and courtesy.
So, on behalf of all the people legally in real America, Id like to give them the finger.
And Id like to give my congressmen and senators a call.
A polite phone call to remind them that, just like more than a hundred million other American voters, I dont want any part of this alien amnesty bill John McCain and Teddy Kennedy are ramrodding through with the help of George W. Bush. If theyre going to treat Miss USA with such disrespect, maybe we should forget this whole Z visa thing and throw these bums the heck out.
The largest single source of health care spending on Mexican nationals is the American taxpayer. The largest single source of education spending on Mexican nationals is the American taxpayer. The largest single source of money in the Mexican economy is the American economy.
And these people resent us.
Its not migration, its invasion. And at the very time the president of the United States, along with his pals in the U. S. Senate, was calling for the biggest immigration gift Mexico or any nation has ever received, these ingrateful Third Worlders had the temerity to boo our beauty pageant contestant.
That might seem like a minor incident, but it is indicative of the attitude of that culture toward this culture. It is an attitude of bigotry and prejudice, the odd national biting of the hand that feeds it.
So heres my message for Mexico: Screw off.
Treat people the way you want to be treated and youll get a lot further in the world. Treat people the way you treat us, and dont be surprised if Americans forget their government and start building a wall themselves. And dont be surprised if the American people rise up and make sure that the invaders youve illegally sent north get nothing but the back of our hand.
Tell me again how they want to “assimilate’?
so you react to ignorance with more ingnorance? you might want to delete your post before more people read it.
Mexico is pissed because not only did we take half of their country, we took the half with the paved roads and running water.
Lonsberry is somewhat of a crackpot at times (and can be annoying) but he’s also frequently dead on.
This article is pretty dead on - he uses their actions and words “Or whatever it is you people do that real Americans wont.” against them.
Everything before the “savages” comment are inflammatory and are meant to be. Everything after describes the situation to a T.
Add “Miss Universe” to the game of golf when it comes to revealing character, not building it.
I think you are ignorant to incorrectly label a factually accurate post as ignorant.
I, for one, am sick of people who are flipping us off with one hand, while their other hand is in our pocket.
ping
I hope, not until the Mexican Embassy Staff have read it.
The contrast between the two countries is evident when one walks from Calexico, Calif., into Mexicali, BC. On the Calexico side, the sidewalks and roads are well-maintained, whereas on the Mexicali side, one is immediately struck by the cracked sidewalks and the streets filled with ruts and potholes.
Mexico is always complaining that we don’t show them enough respect.
Well, in that regard they have nothing to teach us.
At least you could spell ignorance correctly.
Why shouldn’t they treat us with contempt? We constantly give them freebies, we don’t enforce our own laws, we have offered them amnesty in the past and are poised to do so again. If we respected ourselves, maybe they would respect us.
Que?
Good one! Now why don't you try making an actual argument? Don't have one? Didn't think so.
