I doubt it is a disease killing those pigs. No telling what they are feeding them.

The government has a “strategic pork reserve”

Do we have one of these? Are we in danger of a "pork gap", or do we have pork supremacy?

Visions of Salt domes pumped full of minced pork.

Actually this is very similar to the democrats own slush funds.

Let’s hope they aren’t importing any of this pork somehow.

As long as we can produce mega-pigs, we are safe.

That is a real fear. With waste and remainder products being used in pet food, in particular, it would be easy to see the Chinese deciding to increase profits by recycling these carcases rather than destroying them.

First CORN, and now PORK? There is going to be nothing to eat at BBQs if this keeps up.

China cannot easily find competitively priced pork to replace the shortfall at home, because of its own health-related restrictions on imports from South America, where prices are relatively low.

China won't import from SA based on health restrictions? LOL!

Maybe AQ have declared a jihad on helpless piggies since they are failing on other fronts.

It’s funny. Only a communist commissar would respond to an epidemic by exhorting farmers to produce more.
