Oh, I think a lot of these Republicans are toast.
I don’t see how this is a winner for the Republicans at all.
Muuch less the country.
Could there be a chance that we need Mexican Labor?? Not every job is as technical as computer programming.
McConnell being from an Ag state needs Mexican labor and in a Democratic congress the conservatives are not going to get their way. It will be this bill or like last time, no bill.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Perhaps the fine should be 5x as great and the companies that hired them pay it.
Mitch McConnell is a big disappointment on this.
But remember: we stopped the Dubai Ports deal; we cna stop this.
Call 1-800-417-7666 and talk to your Senators. Let’s keep the pressure on.
‘If he’s lying, then he’s being charitable. A search of McConnell’s Senate website does find lots of pages that mention immigration. Unfortunately, they turn out to be different flavors of the “bipartisan” bullcrap. (Why does it always seem that “bipartisan” means “The GOP grabbing their ankles”?) ‘
So far McConnell’s done a pretty good job, thwarting Dingy Harry at every turn. I’m willing to give him the benefit of a doubt based on his performance since last falls election cycle.
‘Sounds like Mitch doesnt mind if this stinker actually passes, as long as there is some substantial debate on it. However, he doesnt explicity support it at this time. My comments to him still stand.’
Same thing he’s been saying prior to all sorts of legislative efforts he eventually found a way to block.
I understand how you fell about it.
IMPEACH ALL REPUBLICANS WHO VOTE FOR THIS BILL!
Ruin the country so that one candidate can be president of a destroyed country? Wouldn't be surprised with these geniuses.
Question: Why are so many that claim to be the base cut and running from the party now. Do they think that will male things better? How? Don`t understand how letting the Rats win therefore punishing the party will improve my grandcritters lives? Hope some one can explain?
We aren't cutting and running from the Republican Party, the Republican Party cut and run from us when it abandons conservative principles in the cynical hope of chasing some temporary political advantage.
I'll answer your questions with questions, if you don't mind. Why should we reward a party that is trying to sell out our nation? Why should we stay in a party that is betraying our principles? How will encouraging the Republicans to be more like Democrats improve your grandchildren's lives?
When the Party advances an agenda that is anti-American, as this amnesty is, I will fight them as though they were the Democrats they seem to want to be.
I will not put the Party before my country. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Just because Mitch is not talking about it does not mean he is for it. Get real. Why say anything at this point. The smart thing would be to keep your cards close to your vest and vote against it when it comes time.
Mitch McConnell is waiting to see what’s in it for him before he votes. He’s a punk like the rest of those old rich bastards in the Senate
