Now that's funny! You are dinging Romney for "looking like he's acting [presidential]", but admire Thompson for coming across as genuine, when he was actually being paid to act Presidential.

Amazing. You really think Romney comes across as being genuine? Between being elected governor and running for president, the man has flipped on almost every issue. I really hope he is conservative as he now says he is, but he looks just as genuine parsing his words when he was speaking pro-abortion as he does now.

You really don't get the cognitive dissonance? Fred was being praised for his "Presidential" demeanor WHILE ACTING IN A ROLE! IT WASN'T GENUINE! IT WAS REALLY ACTING! Yet you accuse Romney of not appearing "genuine" enough, or looking too polished to be believed, or something?

What you are saying is that you think Fred fakes sincerity better than you think Mitt does. The whole "looks" thing is so stupidly petty when deciding whom our Presidential nominee should be, it's laughable. Yet, here it is, being used as attack points against two different candidates, as if it amounted to a real qualification. Lord save our Republic from the shallow.

See my tag for further clarification.
