You actually have to press "1" twice to get your senior senator - or "2" then "1" to get your junior senator.

The funniest thing, the message is in spanish, but tell you exactly what you're supposed to say when you call in english!

I got both my senators offices, told them I want strong border security and no amnesty for illegal aliens, all on La Raza's nickel!!! What a sweet deal!

PLEASE NOTE!!! I just used the line, and I found out:

For my area code, the options were 1 for Cornyn and 18 for Hutchison. I asked which office I was speaking to, and they said Austin, Texas. You see, senators have a Washington number and several local offices. The Washington number is usually busy, but I can usually get through to local offices. That goes for Mitch McConnell, Jeff Sessions, etc. etc. So I think you can just call local offices listed in the senator’s home page if you don’t speak Spanish.

The system is actually pretty sophisticated, and I wonder if they got it from telemarketers, who need a new client since we have the “no call” law.
