DENVER - Even her surgeon calls her a miracle. Shannon Malloy was critically injured Jan. 25 when a car crash slammed her into the dashboard. Her skull separated from her spine, although her skin, spinal cord and other internal organs remained intact.

The rare condition is known as clinically as internal decapitation, and it left her with no control over her head.

Wow, this is one perplexing injury. It almost sounds like a wierd fantasy martial art move, breaking the neck from the inside but not tearing anything else.

Anyway, I am thankfull this woman is ok and like the article says-it is a miracle she lived. Praise Jesus!

This sounds like what is sadi to have killed Dale Earnhart, Sr. I’m glad she made it. Hope she continues to improve.

Thank goodness she stayed calm and didn’t lose her head.

Do not speculate as to whether she was wearing a seat belt! I repeat do not speculate as to whether she was wearing a seat belt!

It’s been days now, but you seem determined to blame her. Latent guilt expectant of latent validation.

You reap what you sow, and I am not reaping your load, thank God. You are.

I never said she did or did not wear a belt. I never blamed her. I noted that I was curious as to whether she wore one.

Funny thing is that you locked onto that and ignored the comment two posts down where someone made a “keep your head” type joke. If you try to be anything, try to be consistent.

As far as reaping; who’s reaping? I’m laughing at you.

One more thing. Have you prayed for her?

God bless her. But man, that's a hard situation.
