Those that plotted Fort Dix were here illegally and had been arrested dozens of times....yet no one knew they were illegal? Didn’t bother to check? You think it’s just Mexicans that are coming across the border? What do you want to do, wait until you know for sure that terrorists have attacked us and came across the border to do it? The majority of the bile directed toward illegals is directed toward Mexicans who have been coming to this country for years. The most recent ones have included criminals and activists who want to change the culture of the country to suit their own preferences, so that has increased the outcry against all of them, even those who only want to make a better life for themselves, and not cause problems for others.
Yes, the laws need to be enforced, and if they had been, the Fort Dix group wouldn't have been able to plot. This is not just the fault of the Republicans in Congress, nor of this President. This has been going on for over 25 years, and won't be solved in the next three or four.
