One thing they may not realize is the Democratic Party will lose black votes over this. I guarantee ordinary black voters don’t won’t to be a smaller minority than they are now. They are THE most loyal Dem voters, and they are being screwed royally by their elitist “leaders.”

Mine are Snowe and Collins and neither will support the country on this. My congressman is Tom Allen who has an almost perfect democrat voting record.

Mine are Bob Casey (D-PA) and Areln Specter (R-PA, but might as well be a D). I called them both anyway (knowing that it was wasted breath), and expressed my extreme dissatisfaction. The guy who answered Casey's phone was flustered and overwhelmed. The guy who answred Specter's phone was an arrogant little b@stard.

I called Jim Gerlach (R-PA), my representative, and the woman who answered there said he would absolutely NOT support it or vote for it.
