NILAND - A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent was found dead floating in seven feet of water in a canal near the city of Niland, east of Salton Sea, authorities announced today.
Richard Goldstein, 37, a five-year veteran of the Border Patrol assigned to the El Centro Sector's Indio Station, was found floating in the Coachella Canal after agents reported him missing around 3:30 p.m., Border Patrol Agent David Kim said.
Goldstein was discovered floating in the canal almost an hour after agents found his K-9 partner sitting alongside his vehicle, which was parked and idling along the Coachella Canal, Kim said

It could be, but how do you know? It might have been an accident.
It sure would have helped if the writer had indicated whether or not foul play was indicated. Guess they wanted to protect us children from such info; might upset us.
I have property just east of Niland. The area is sometimes a heavily used route for illegals. I had to show a 45 one time to prevent 15 illeglas from taking all my food and water while in the desert a few miles east of the canal.
The coyotes drive up hwy 111 and drop the illegals off just south of Niland and tell them to walk north to the 10 frwy then turn left to L.A. It’s about 30 miles of harsh desert through a bombing range.
When the BP tightens up in Arizona they come through the Niland area desert by the thousands stealing everything they can and leaving trash and vehicles everywhere.
The BP are really nice people.
I doubt if this one drowned. They’re not dumb people.

Actually, the dissemination of disinformation and propaganda through the media has been going on for a very, very long time, probably well over 100 years. Up until the past 10 years or so there just haven't been alternative news sources with the ability to reach the masses. The difference now is there are alternative news outlets that, thanks to the Internet, can easily reach millions of people. It's just not that easy for the Drive-by Media to fool people anymore. It's the genie that got out of the bottle when the Internet went public, or the law of unintended consequences at work......take your pick.
Great air shows though.
The illegals put colored ribbons to mark their trails through the bombing range. Sometimes they have “staging” areas full of water jugs for the illegals. Usually they just drop them off and tell them to walk.
When 30 or 40 of them show up at 3:00 AM wanting to be fed and watered only a shotgun keeps them from taking everything you have.
Stealing from people Americans don’t want to steal from.

A floating formerly healthy young man in the prime of his life along a smuggling route is a clue.
So...no evidence.
I sent this article to Quinn and Rose. Hopefully Quinn will pick it up.
Normal people don’t just fall into that canal.
