We say it to each other when it's 125 outside. "But it's a DRY heat..." Of course, it drips with sarcasm at that point. LOL

I keep forgetting how much I dread the summers here...until it makes its early appearances as it is doing now.

I used to think Houston had hot summers.

Good morning, Jinxie

(((HUGS)))

iChat (or similar product) is the next best thing to being there. It’s great for those long-distances. At least my grandchildren get to see who “grandma” is. I get to see how grown they are and the new words they’ve learned.

I've spent time in a place that cooled down to 115 at night. It's much like living in a blast furnace.
"but it's a dry heat"... Ya' just smile and nod, understanding that they have no way of knowing.

The first president of the United States, George Washington, did wear dentures, but they were not made of wood. Washington had several sets of dentures, made of a variety of substances, including ivory, lead, and human and cow teeth.

However, despite various and sundry serious search procedures, no physical evidence of George Washington has ever been found upon any woman's dress, regardless of the color blue or otherwise!!! ;-))

I'd thought you'd like it.
Actually, I have to go back to brush up on my HTML. I couldn't change the font style. I was confusing (Warning: Geek-Speak Alert!) the tags for cascading styles sheets with the regular HTML FONT tag attributes, so nothing was happening that I wanted.
(This has been a Geek-Speak Alert. Had there been an actual emergency, you would have been told what to do ... but you wouldn't have understood a word of it. We now return you to your thread, already in progress.)
