Poles and Slovaks do not agree over US missile shield radar base

Bratislava - Slovakia and Poland had not reached any agreement on the hosting of a missile shield radar base in Poland, Polish Premier Jaroslav Kaczynski and his Slovakian counterpart Robert Fico told reporters in Bratislava Friday. Although the relationship between the two countries was generally very good the countries had differences of opinion on some aspects of foreign policy, the leaders said during an official visit of the Polish prime minister to Slovakia.
The area of greatest disagreement was the planned US missile shield radar base planned to be hosted in Poland and the Czech Republic.
While Kaczynski defended the project and said the proposed site was useful to all of Europe and therefore did not represent a threat to Russia, Fico shared Russia's doubts over the plan.
The project created "unnecessary tension" and could be dispensed with, Fico said.
While Kaczynski was against the revival of the EU constitutional process, Fico fully supported the efforts of the German EU presidency in that direction.
Defending yourself creates “unecessary tension.” Maybe in the aggressor capitols......and maybe in the appeasement capitols as well.
May Putin has cause the Slovak leadership to cave with these people that keep dying. Surrender never works, Slovaks.
