These things just tell us that Rasmussen is on crack. I don't know why people here refuse to believe that the war and the President are very unpopular.

Politicians have no choice to follow polls and to make sure they polls they follow are accurate. Their job security depends on it. Rove was full of hot air when he told the media that he had his own numbers about how the midterms would turn out. Rasmussen is a joke and no one here at FR should pay any attention to them.

Rasmussen called every seat correct in 2002, 2004 and 2006.

You are a joke.

If you choose to believe the biased pro-terrorist polling firms, go right ahead.

Bashing Rasmussen proves you are a bitter jerk who hates President Bush and support the terrorist plan for Iraq more enough to dismiss accurate polls.

Bin Laden was right about people like you.

Politicians have no choice to follow polls

Sounds like a quote from the guy in your tagline.

When the public turns on a war effort they helped to start by cheering it on in overwhelming numbers, and they turn on it based on endless lies and propaganda, politicans who know better have an obligation to counter those lies and propaganda. Not just roll with it.

These guys are a disgrace. So are the constituents who've lost the stomach to fight this war (or technically, to occasionally watch on their televisions as other men fight it).

Seriously, why do you hate the troops...that's the question I've always been asked when I brought up the rather sensible position that contrary to Fox News and the 'hidden' news stories, it's not the lack of the media reporting the news, it's the fact it's just not happening.

That among other reasons is why it's unpopular. And frankly any Republican looking for any chance to win whatsoever better rework their message on the police action by the end of September. That is the political reality of it.

Rassmussen is the most accurate pollster out there. The others are trying to change public opinion, not measure it.

Any spineless POS who governs by polls isn't worth a bucket of spit.

You do not run a war on Polls. If that were always the case, I would have grown up in the Confederate States of America instread of the USA. You just have the unfortunate occassion of living among many liberal scum in the Northeast.

That’s the problem with politicians.
What we need is ‘statesmen’ who have a long range vision for this country not on the issue ‘du jour’.

I should care that "people" believe that the President and the War are unpopular after nearly four years of constant bashing from the liberal media and liberal politicians (including Rino's)?

What would be expected after constant claims that the U.S. 1) fabricated the reasons for war; 2) engaged in an illegal war; 3) are losing the war; all in the absence of information that counters these lies being told to this nation (and used as propaganda by our enemies)?

We as a Nation had better grow thicker skin and accept the fact that we are in the beginnings of the next world war. If not, we are destined to be defeated - not by our enemies, but from within (as suggested by a former Russian leader).
