Duncan Hunter had a law practice in San Diego prior to seving in the Congress. He also served as an Army Ranger in the Vietnam war.

They do. I have a Dyson and I will never buy another brand of Vacuum cleaner. You can't argue with good design and nothing else comes close.
Well, my wife is the one who vacuums. So I’ll pass that on.
They truly are unbelievable. You can take a room that has been freshly vacuumed by another brand, and it will still fill most of the canister. Even people who are obsessive about vacuuming because of allergies say that the amount of gunk a Dyson gets out is amazing.
Some of us Thompson fans already considered DH and were forced to look elsewhere due to his record as a big spender. I want a leader who will steer a course AWAY from big government conservatism back toward Goldwater/Reagan limited government conservatism. In short, I am looking for a “FREDERALIST” candidate. (Ron Paul is even stronger on this issue that FDT, but he is a little naive in the area of foreign policy)
With all the free air time given to Fred Thompson(again tonight on FOX!) and on radio, it is amazing that people even know there are other candidates, thanks to the black out on them by the MSM. If this isn’t blatant media manipulation, I don’t know what it is. This, alone, is enough to put a person off on Fred. If they were ignoring your candidate, how would you feel? Be honest, now.

Hunter a big spender? I see you’ve bought into some myths. There is only two areas that Hunter wants to increase spending on and has consistently voted to do so. Border security and the Military. No one is more qualified to be CIC than this wise man.

You Fred-heads are always calling Rep. Hunter a big spender, but you never answer when asked what he spent so recklessly upon.
If you call the border fence in San Diego, and the military build up he did after Clinton diminished our armed forces and equipment, I would NOT say that is reckless spending, would you? After all, that is what government is meant to do - defend the country.

No, that is not a myth and there are a LOT of areas in which he voted to increase spending. His is not a record I can support. From the Club for Growth:
YES on No Child Left Behind YES on Sarbanes-Oxley YES on the 2003 Medicare Drug Benefit YES on 2005 Highway Bill Hunter also went 0 for 19 on the Flake anti-pork amendments.
Despite being a member of the Republican Study Committee, Hunter frequently votes NO on their fiscally conservative annual budgets (2006, 2005, 2003...)
49% on the 2005 Club for Growth scorecard. That places him 187th within the House GOP conference, out of roughly 230 members.
National Taxpayers Union shows a more telling trend. He was strong in the early 1990s, getting “B’s” and one “A”, but as time went by, like most politicians, his score dropped. For the past few years, he’s been getting “C’s”.

And as bad as things are on the budget front, they’re about to get a whole lot worse because of a pending nightmare that Duncan Hunter — supposed tough guy, supposed truth-teller, supposed fiscal conservative — has chosen to ignore.

He voted to make the problem much, much, much worse by extending prescription drug benefits to seniors, three-quarters of whom already have coverage. The money that was saved by all the triumphant stands he claims to have taken is infinitesimal compared to the staggering long-term national debt he helped add with this one vote, which was tantamount to civic arson.
