Remember that Romney's spokesman denounced Ann Coulter's remark about the fact that calling John Edwards "gay" would send someone to the sensitivity training gulag. Along with other RINOs, Romney decided to join the liberal lynch mob. I can understand why she would support someone else.

Of the “front runners” Romney is the one I could hold my nose and vote for but My vote is going to Hunter.

She has always said good things about both Hunter and Romney. At CPAC she explained that she loved Hunter but wasn't sure he could win. Of the so-called "first tier" candidates she supported Romney before it was considered the cool thing to do ;-)

Romney likes Hunter as well. In his post Debate interview Mitt Romney made a few supportive statements about Hunter as someone he thought did well. He didn;t mention any of the other candidates.

We don't know if he's running for president, but assuming he is, I kind of think his time has passed, and I don't know, you know, it could come back again, like '80s music, but I think his time is over. And you have to say about Romney, he tricked liberals into voting for him. I like a guy -- I like a guy who hoodwinks liberals so easily. And also, the one thing that I have a very soft spot for is that I love Mormons. And the reason why I love Mormons, well, among other things, is -- you may have forgotten this -- Bill Clinton in Utah in 1992 came in third in Utah. Now, that's a fine state.

Duncan Hunter would make a great President. So would Fred Thompson.

Julie Annie will never get there. McCain - much as I despise the guy, is the only one of the top three who would get my vote and then only duress (Hillery or Obama duress).

Yes, I thought she was rather supportive of Mitt Romney. Though Romney is good and coherent and presents himself well but I could see him being more mushy and apt at giving in to the opposition if President(like Bush); Hunter would make the best President and it’s good Ann would put his name out there past this stigma those against him would like to make: “he can’t win”. If he got the nomination the name recognition and people wanting to know who this was that got past Rudy and McCain would be great and Hunter can take care of winning people over because he is an awesome candidate. She likely took a look at the picture of Mitt with his five husky young sons and the news footage of young women in combat and saw the disconnect; Hunter won’t have that problem.
