Whatever. Her family is hardly a model for values, morals or behavior. If the worst any in her family did was wink at someone improperly and slip up about how old the bat really is, than they would be far better off than they are now.

She looks as though she may be smiling in the first photo. I cant imagine how she could not.
She's smiling here.

Did he make the Queen wait for him while he used a cigar on an intern?

Mickey also gave Ronald Wilson Reagan a fine salute at the funeral.

He hasn't been so successful in the past, however. He once admitted to the Queen he was the black sheep of his family and then turned to her and asked "Who's yours?" That's far stupider than anything he said to her this week.

I’m not sure what exactly they *do* these days. I doubt the President brought that up though. I do hope he asks about royalty coming from the watery tart throwing the sword and all though. :)

The Queen danced with President Ford in 1976, but it is not known whether she will take to the floor with Mr Bush.
Can she two step?

I don’t think the Queen is really all that stodgy for a Royal. I think she got over it and realized there was no bad intent.

“And I’ll get flamed for hell about this but except for Her Majesty, Prince Phillip, and Colin Powell it just looked like everyone was dressed up to go to the cotillion down at the Crawford Country Club. A very stark reminder that tradition trumps power”
Pomposity to impress the little people or each other.
Should have had a hog roast and a kegger. Would have had more fun. Tequila jello shots... mud rasslin.

I thought it was a great “recover”. This woman is not a “God”. She is after all only human and a sense of humor would be a nice asset.
“W” may have trouble with words but he is as quick as lightning with the quip! He can be rather charming in situations like that.

The second photo does not represent her return gaze. That is false. I saw the event. The British press is being petty and mean.
