If there is any deluded soul that still thinks Bush is or ever was a conservative this should put that idea to rest.

Would not be a case of “the apple does not fall far from the tree”, would it? Not many recall that Bush Sr. was eliminated from the primary contest against Reagan in 1980, because of his outing as a globalist by the radical right. An then, he became Vice-President and President anyway. What options did Republicans have other than Jr.?

Great. Now when the bureaucrats in Brussels say jump, we will have to jump too. Wonderful. Maybe they can take some Mexicans off our hands.

President Bush has signed onto the new world order.

I wonder how many "tribunals and secretariats" this will call for. How much unAmerican crap do we have to pay for now?

“...Transatlantic Economic Council was tasked with creating regulatory convergence between the U.S. and the EU...”

As always, here come the goosestepping unelected bureaucrats. Unaccountable bureaucrats writing law is an anathema to the lawful and democratic working of a constitutional republic. This is the stuff of all dictatorships, from Russia’s soviets to fascist Germany’s functionaries.

The idiots infesting Washington wouldn’t know free trade if you branded the definition on their foreheads.

The federal fascist bureaucracy is our enemy and it should be treated so, in word, act and deed. We’re reliving 1775.

He is one of the architects. He just got Europe to sign on , not the other way. This follows a similar agreement with Canada last fall.

I’ve a question of logics: If everyone joins a “union” to escape a perceived inequity, what or whom then does that union challenge?

One big problem here to American integration with Europe...the Atlantic Ocean is in the way.

Posted here, Framework for Advancing Transatlantic Economic Integration Between the [US and EU] a document directly out of the White House.

"Reforming" American government from the executive branch, one 'framework' at a time.

The agreement established a new Transatlantic Economic Council to be chaired on the U.S. side by a cabinet-level officer in the White House and on the EU side by a member of the European Commission.

The Constitution clearly says that all Transatlantic Economic Councils must be approved by a 2/3rds vote of the Senate. LOL!

This (Corsi) thread will need to be savored with lunch, as I can’t give it the time it really deserves at the moment. Enjoy.
