If Sarkozy is in line with Guiliani about terrorists, this would be a boon to both the French and to the WOT Allies. I don’t hold much hope for anything else from Old Europe.

I agree, but by modern Euro standards, its the best we can hope for, for now. Like Confucius say: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” We could hope for as much in the US nowadays.
